The Door

Doors bring us home, protect us, they give a sense of comfort from the outside, the unknown, and can take us on a journey.  "When one door closes... another one opens...": a common saying.  I imagine a transformation; a decision coupled with action left open to the interpretation of chance, an end result not necessarily the desired result.  Most important to me are the decision and the action taken to participate in this transformation, finding enjoyment and surprise in an unknown result.
